A restaurant in Rome’s city center, few steps away from the Vatican, in the heart of Borgo Pio neighborhood.
The restaurant first opened in 1959 and in it lives, nowadays just exactly as it was the first day, the passion for the recipes that are transmitted from generations. In general, we focus on keeping unaltered the ancient tastes and on discovering new combinations too. The warm and elegant ambiance is characterized by accurately selected decorations produced by master artisans, with a soft lighting and nice flower compositions. The restaurant is divided into 3 areas: a main room which offers a view over the kitchen, a second private room cozy and more intimate, and an external terrace right in front of the entrance.
A little interesting fact: the name Arlù comes from the fusion of initial letter from Armando and Lucia, engaged in life and work from the passion for good food, proud to work in the food field with the precious help from their daughters Federica and Carlotta.
The culinary tradition meets innovation. Thanks to the collaboration between Chef Lucia Cenci and Chef Antonio Putignano, we have a perfect mix that giving life to unique and refined dishes able to bring the name of Arlù high in the world.
